  • MOSAIC PRO is operated personally by Cristian Alexandru, an individual, who handles customer requests and the management of customer data.

What we collect and why

  • Email address — to link your mosaic to you, let you sign in without a password and send your download. Legal basis: performing our contract with you.
  • Photos you upload — only to create your mosaic. Basis: contract.
  • Payment details — handled by Stripe. We receive payment status, amount and email, never your full card number. Basis: contract and legal obligations (accounting).
  • Basic technical data — such as an anonymous visit counter and security logs needed to run the site. Basis: legitimate interest.
  • Optional analytics and marketing — only if you consent. See our Cookie Policy.

Who processes your data

  • Lovable (website hosting) and Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage, provided through Lovable Cloud).
  • Railway (servers that process your photos into the mosaic).
  • Stripe (payments).
  • Lovable's email service (sign-in and download emails).

These providers act on our instructions. Some may process data outside the EU; where they do, they rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

Our photos and mosaics are now deleted automatically, using the following rules:

  • Unpaid project, generated once — the source photos and the mosaic are automatically deleted 7 calendar days after the generation completes.
  • Unpaid project that is regenerated — the source photos used for the completed regeneration are deleted immediately after it finishes successfully. The latest unpaid mosaic is kept for 7 calendar days after its generation completes; each subsequent completed unpaid regeneration resets this 7-day period.
  • Purchased mosaic — the source photos used for the purchased generation are deleted immediately after your payment is confirmed. The paid final mosaic stays available for download for 30 calendar days from payment and is then automatically deleted.
  • Protection — a confirmed purchase always takes precedence over unpaid expiration rules, and generations that are in progress or need a valid retry are left untouched.

This cleanup runs automatically on an hourly schedule on the published site. It only ever deletes what the rules above make eligible, never anything early. Payment and invoice records are kept as long as accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict or move your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to support@mosaic.pet. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP, dataprotection.ro) or the authority in your country.
